Service agreement
Terms of Service
These terms govern your business use of Secure The Job.
Last updated: 7 September 2026
1. Who we are
Secure The Job is provided by Mark Woolfe, a sole trader trading as Secure The Job. Our business address and contact details are available on the Contact page. You can also email us through support@securethejob.co.uk.
2. Business use only
Secure The Job is supplied only for purposes relating to a trade, business, craft or profession. By creating an account, you confirm that you are acting wholly or mainly for business purposes, are at least 18, and have authority to bind the business named on the account. The service is not offered for personal or household use.
3. The service
Secure The Job provides tools for missed-call recovery, lead handling, customer and job records, scheduling, invoices and business reporting. Features may rely on third-party calling, messaging, email, hosting and payment services. You are responsible for checking outputs, records, appointments and messages before relying on them in your business.
4. Your account
You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure and promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account, authorised users and deciding who may access customer information. One subscription is for the business and workspace identified at registration unless we agree otherwise.
5. Trials, payment and renewal
Unless a different offer is clearly shown, an eligible new workspace may receive up to a 14-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to begin the trial, but no subscription fee is charged until the checkout date shown by Stripe. Trial length may be shorter where it is measured from initial workspace creation. One introductory trial is available per business or workspace.
After the trial, the Pro Plan costs £39 per month or £390 per year, unless a different price is clearly accepted at checkout. Stripe shows the exact amount, tax (if applicable), payment date and billing cycle before confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically using the payment method held by Stripe until cancelled. We will give reasonable advance notice of a price increase that affects a future renewal.
6. Cancellation, number deposits and refunds
You can cancel through Manage existing subscription in your workspace. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current trial or paid billing period, and access continues until the date shown. Because this is a business-only service, consumer cooling-off rights do not apply. This does not affect any right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our Cancellation and Refund Policy explains the process.
If you request a call-recovery number, you must separately accept the Call Forwarding Agreement and pay the £15 refundable Number Security Deposit shown before checkout. You must not advertise the recovery number as your permanent business number. Conditional forwarding for unanswered, busy and unreachable calls means those calls are handled by Secure The Job instead of your mobile network's normal voicemail. Your normal mobile voicemail will not receive calls covered by those forwarding rules while they are active.
When the number or service ends, you must remove unanswered, busy and unreachable call forwarding, test your usual business number from another phone, and confirm completion in Secure The Job within 14 days. We will refund the deposit through Stripe when those steps are confirmed on time, or if we decline your number request. If you do not confirm within 14 days, we may retain the deposit towards the reasonable cost of protecting and quarantining the number. This is not a recurring post-cancellation charge.
A removed recovery number is blocked from assignment to any other Secure The Job customer. It remains quarantined until there have been 30 consecutive days without an incoming call; any incoming call restarts the 30-day period. It may then be released to the telephone provider, which may eventually reassign it outside Secure The Job.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use Secure The Job unlawfully; send spam, unlawful direct marketing or misleading messages; harass anyone; attempt to bypass security; interfere with the service; access another user’s data; upload malicious material; or use the service in a way that infringes another person’s rights. You must comply with applicable privacy, direct-marketing, electronic-communications and call-recording laws.
8. Your data and data protection
You retain ownership of your business data. You are normally the data controller for customer and lead information placed in your workspace, and you appoint Secure The Job as processor to handle it only to provide, secure and support the service and as required by law. The processor commitments and authorised provider categories in our Privacy Policy form part of these terms.
You are responsible for having a lawful basis, giving required privacy information, handling rights requests, keeping data accurate, configuring appropriate access and ensuring your instructions comply with UK data-protection law. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, copy, transmit and otherwise process your data to deliver the service.
9. Intellectual property
We and our licensors retain all rights in the service, software, branding and materials other than your business data. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your trial or paid subscription for your internal business purposes. You must not copy, resell, reverse engineer or commercially exploit the service except where the law does not allow that restriction.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, security work, supplier outages, network failures and events outside our reasonable control may affect access. We may improve, replace or discontinue features, giving reasonable notice where practicable if a change materially reduces the core paid service.
11. Our responsibility
Secure The Job supports business administration and lead handling; it does not guarantee that a lead will respond, become a customer or produce revenue. Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to the previous sentence, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, anticipated savings, goodwill or data, or loss caused by inaccurate information, your misuse of the service or a third-party service outside our reasonable control. Our total liability arising in any 12-month period is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in that period. You remain responsible for maintaining any records or backups reasonably necessary for your business.
12. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to protect users, customer data or the service, where payment is overdue, or where these terms are materially breached. We will explain the reason when lawful and practical. An account placed into pending deletion after repeated suspensions will normally have its workspace data preserved for 14 days so the business can contact us to request restoration or access to its information. If it is not restored during that period, the account and stored workspace data may be permanently deleted and the email address blocked. When access ends, you should export any information you need promptly. We may delete workspace information in line with our Privacy Policy.
13. General terms
If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive it. You may not transfer this agreement without our written consent; we may transfer it as part of a sale or reorganisation of the service, provided this does not reduce your rights. No person other than you and us has a right to enforce these terms.
14. Law and disputes
These terms and any non-contractual dispute are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Please contact support@securethejob.co.uk first so we can try to resolve a concern promptly.
