Straightforward billing
Cancellation and Refund Policy
This policy explains how business customers can end or change a Secure The Job subscription.
Last updated: 7 September 2026
Cancel a subscription
- Sign in to your Secure The Job workspace.
- Open Plan & billing.
- Select Manage existing subscription.
- Choose Cancel subscription in the secure Stripe portal and confirm.
Stripe and your workspace will show the effective cancellation date. You will not be charged for another renewal unless you reactivate or start a new subscription. Keep the confirmation for your records.
Cancellation during a free trial
Cancel before the trial end date shown by Stripe to prevent the first subscription payment. Access will normally continue until that date. A payment method is required to begin the trial, but the subscription fee is not charged during the free period.
Cancellation after payment
Monthly and annual plans normally remain available until the end of the billing period already paid for. Cancelling stops future renewal; it does not normally produce a full or part-period refund for unused time.
Recovery-number security deposit
If a recovery number has been assigned, cancelling the subscription does not remove call-forwarding settings from your phone. Follow the removal instructions in Calls & alerts, turn off unanswered, busy and unreachable forwarding, make the required test call and confirm removal within 14 days. Removing these rules also restores your mobile network's normal voicemail handling. The £15 Number Security Deposit is then refunded through Stripe. If the number request is declined, the deposit is also refunded. If removal is not confirmed within 14 days, the deposit may be retained towards the reasonable cost of safely quarantining the number. Secure The Job does not continue charging a monthly number fee after cancellation.
Business subscriptions
Secure The Job is supplied only for business use. Consumer 14-day cooling-off rights and the statutory model cancellation form therefore do not apply. This does not affect rights that cannot legally be excluded, including remedies for a service that has not been supplied with reasonable care and skill.
Switching monthly or annual billing
Select the other billing cycle in Plan & billing and review the change in Stripe. Stripe will show the price, any credit or charge, effective date and next renewal before you confirm. The information shown at confirmation governs that change.
Refunds and billing errors
Subscription payments are generally non-refundable once a paid billing period has started, except where required by law or where we agree otherwise. Contact us promptly if you believe you were charged incorrectly, charged more than once, or could not cancel because of a technical fault. We will investigate genuine billing errors and provide any refund due to the original payment method.
